Lawrie's Legacy: A regular giving program with all funds going towards the Jack Ross Bursary

Lawrie's Legacy is a regular giving program which has been launched to honour the memory of Old Boy Lawrence (Lawrie) Michael Cusack (NC 1947-1950) who passed away on 20 June 2016. Lawrie was a true Signum Fidei and offered so much of his time to the Nudgee College Old Boys' Association as President, Secretary and most recently, Registrar.  Lawrie's dream was to ensure the future of the John Elliott (Jack) Ross Bursary, so that all young men could have the opportunity to receive a Nudgee College education.  Lawrie's Legacy is another channel to contribute to the Jack Ross Bursary.

The Jack Ross Bursary is not a sporting or academic scholarship.  The sole objective of the Jack Ross Bursary is to provide bursaries to students whose families are unable afford to send their sons to Nudgee College.  A bursary can be awarded to a student whose family cannot financially support their education due to circumstances such as losing a parent, family breakdown or bankruptcy. $228,210 is our target. This amount will put one boy through 6 years of high school and boarding at Nudgee College with all levies, fees and insurances covered. Help us reach our target of $228,210 and give the gift of a Nudgee College education.​
